Dana Polotzola

Krotz Springs Visiting and funeral services for Dana Marie Polotzola, the former Dana Marie Ricker, will begin at 9:00 a.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 22, 2013, in the LaFondArdoin Funeral Home of Krotz Springs. Interment will follow in the Melville Baptist Cemetery. Reverend Chad Bolfa, Pastor of First Baptist Church of Krotz Springs, will conduct the funeral service.

Dana Polotzola, age 47, was born in Lafayette, LA and was a resident of Krotz Springs. She died on Saturday, September 21, 2013 at the Opelousas General Health System.

Survivors include her husband, Frank Polotzola of Krotz Springs, LA stepfather, Leroy Marks, Jr of Port Barre son, Ernest Ray Polotzola and Brittany Jarreau of Krotz Springs, LA daughter, Jayme Lee Polotzola and Whitney Coleman of Opelousas brother, Steven Ray Ryder, Sr. and his wife Amanda of Port Barre sisters, Pam Lamke of Port Barre and Kristi Huff of Newport, TN and three grandchildren, Nierra Polotzola, Whitney Coleman, Jr., and Bentley Polotzola.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Elgin Rick Ricker and Dedree Lee Ryder and a niece, Charlie Sapp.

Pallbearers will be Ernest Ray Polotzola, Ty Lamke, Louis Polotzola, Arthur Lamke, Whitney Coleman and Stephen Ryder, Sr.

Honorary pallbearers will be Christian Lamke and Whitney Coleman, Jr.
