Funeral services for Mr. Dalton Neg Guidroz will be held at Lafond Ardoin Funeral Home Chapel in Opelousas on Saturday, January 20, 2007 at 2PM. The interment will be at Bellevue Memorial Park. Rev. Alan Spence will conduct the services.

Mr. Guidroz, age 79, formerly of Port Barre, died Friday, January 18, 2007 at Savoy Care Center in Mamou.

He is survived by his wife; Louise Domec Guidroz of Mamou La. four sons; Nolan Guidroz, Robert Dale Guidroz, Dalton Guidroz Jr. all of Port Barre and Paul Wayne Guidroz of Arnaudville, six daughters; Rose Marie Guidroz of Ville Platte, Mary Joyce Bailey of Mamou, Debra Wiltz of Opelousas, Susan Welch of Pine Prairie, Peggy Lee Kelly Guidroz of Houma and Betty Jane Welch of Opelousas, one brother; Joseph Guidroz Jr. of San Diego, CA. He is also survived by 33 Grandchildren and 66 Great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Joseph and Edna Faul Guidroz Sr. his daughters; Bertha Mae Guidroz and Nola Guidroz Miller, a grandchildren; Jessica Welch Terry Aucoin, Theodore Teddy Welch Jr. and Christopher Patrick Aucoin and a Great-grandson; Christopher Scott.

The family has requested that visitation be observed on Friday, January 19,2007 from 3:00PM to 10:00PM and will continue on Saturday until time of service.
