Opelousas - A Funeral Service will be held at 11:30 AM on Saturday, February 2, 2019, for Cynthia Ann Guillory Curtis in the Skip Montet Chapel at Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home. Deacon Dwayne Joubert will officiate the service. Burial will be held at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Washington, LA. Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 2, 2019, from 9:30 AM until the time of service at 11:30 AM. A Rosary will be prayed at 11:00 AM. Pallbearers will be Brian Stelly, Lionel Stelly, Michael Stelly, Bryce Stelly, Keith Aymond and Dwayne Dufour.

Mrs. Curtis, age 66, a resident of Clinton, LA, passed away on Thursday, January 31, 2019, at Landmark of Baton Rouge, LA.

Cynthia graduated high school from Stephen F. Austin in Port Arthur, TX. She then earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Radiological Science in 1994 from Midwestern State University. She worked at Methodist Hospital in Houston, TX for 30 years and then relocated to Louisiana and worked at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital until retirement. She was a loving daughter who took care of her parents. She enjoyed traveling and shopping. Cynthia will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by numerous aunts and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, J.B. Guillory and Elizabeth Dupuis Guillory; her aunts, Gloria, Theresa and Bessie and her uncles, Alton, Walter and Douglas.
