Creighton Hoffpauir

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. for Creighton "Bozo" Hoffpauir on Saturday, April 22, 2017, at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church in Leonville, La. Reverend Billy Massie will officiate the Mass and the Rite of Committal will take place in the church cemetery.

Mr. Hoffpauir, age 77, passed away on Wednesday, April 19, 2017.

Creighton loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his grandsons, Shane Hargroder and wife, Stephanie, of Church Point, LA; Brandon Luneau of Texas; his granddaughter, Brandi Carroll and husband, Francis, of Broussard, LA; his son-in-law, Andrew Luneau of Port Barre, LA and his four great-grandchildren, Jackson Hargroder, Macyn Bertrand, Levi Hargroder, Kori Hargroder and his grand dogs, Bailey and Khloe.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Lula Dupre Hoffpauir; his wife, Vergie Marie Stelly Hoffpauir; his daughter, Brenda Ann Luneau and his beloved teacup poodle, "Sweetpea".

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 21, 2017, from 12:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. in the Lafond Ardoin Funeral Home of Opelousas with a Rosary being prayed at 7:00 p.m. The funeral home will reopen on Saturday, April 22, 2017, at 8:00 a.m. until time of service.
