Krotz Springs - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Connie Duplechain at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 9, 2015, in the St. Anthony Catholic Church in Krotz Springs. Reverend Chanh Nguyen will conduct the Mass of Christian Burial. Burial will be held at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church Cemetery in Port Barre, LA.

Mrs. Duplechain, age 53, a resident of Krotz Springs, died on Monday, April 6, 2015, at her residence.

She will be greatly missed by her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her mother, Elizabeth Duplechain; her daughter, Lacey Duplechain and fiancé, Dustin Fontenot; her brother, Michael Duplechain; her sister, Monique Duplechain; her half-brother, Leo Duplechain and her half-sister, Jessica Landerno. She is also survived by her godchildren, Amelia Duplechain, Alena Duplechain, Ruby Broussard; her nieces, Amber Duplechain, Sydni Duplechain, Laci Lanclos; her nephews, Harley Duplechain, Michael Duplechain, Jr., Sage Duplechain, Dylan Landerno, Eric Lanclos and her great-nieces, Mikenzee Coslett, Michaela Coslett, Elizabeth Duplechain and Michaelynn Duplechain.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Oran Barron and her father, Leodice Duplechain.
