Clint Lalonde

Krotz Springs - Funeral services for Clint Randell Lalonde will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 10, 2022, at the First Baptist Church in Krotz Springs.  Reverend Benji Richard will officiate the services.  Burial will follow in the First Baptist Church Cemetery.

Clint Lalonde, 43, beloved Brother, was called to his eternal resting place on February 6, 2022.

Clint was a truck driver most of his life.  He was happy go lucky and full of life.  Clint was a longtime devoted volunteer firefighter with the Krotz Springs and Melville Fire Departments.  He enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, hunting, and cooking.  He mostly enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.  Clint will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved him.

Clint is survived by his special love and companion, Candice Brown; one son, Edmond Lalonde, and four daughters, Selena Ryder (Stephan), Savannah Spitzmiller (Jacob) and Elizabeth and Ashlyn Lalonde; one sister, Richelle Badeaux (Brent), one brother, Toby Lalonde (Christi), three grandchildren, Graceleigh Spitzmiller, Emereigh Spitzmiller and Archie Ryder; three nephews, Bryce, Branton (Godchild) and Bevan Badeaux; two nieces, Ali and Falin Lalonde; his Uncle Jimmy Hutto (Debbie), Aunt Sybil Comeaux (Melvin); his Godfather, Randy Lalonde (Mona) and his Godmother, Tammy Guillory and a host of aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Everly Grace Lalonde; his parents, Edmond and Mary Hutto Lalonde, his maternal grandparents, Bill and Ruby Hutto; his paternal grandparents, Austin Lalonde, Sr. and Rose Lalonde; his Aunt Romona Hutto and stepmother, Effie Lalonde.

Pallbearers will be his fellow firefighters from the St. Landry Fire District #1:  Mike Ashcraft, Joe Ashcraft, Jody Lanclos, Collin McBride, Mac Thibodeaux, and Travis Martinez.  Honorary pallbearers will be Chief Tim Guidry, Charlie Melancon and Shaun Dupre.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 9, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in the Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home in Krotz Springs.  The funeral home will reopen on Thursday, February 10, 2022, at 8:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the St. Landry Parish Fire District #1 in Clint's honor.
