Claude Thibodeaux

Opelousas - Funeral services for Claude Matt Thibodeaux, age 50, will be held on Wednesday, October 8, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Krotz Springs, La., followed by interment in the church mausoleum.

Father Mark Ledoux will conduct the Mass of Christian Burial.

Mr. Thibodeaux, a lifelong resident of Krotz Springs, La., died at 7:55 p.m. on Sunday, October 5, 2008, at Doctors Hospital in Opelousas, La.

Mr. Thibodeaux was an avid hunter and biker.

Mr. Thibodeaux is survived by his mother, Vivian Breaux, of Krotz Springs, La.; his daughter, Jacqualine Young and her husband, Brant, of Port Barre, La.; his brothers, Michael Williams of Krotz Springs, La.; Page Breaux of Baton Rouge, La. and Terry Thibodeaux of Laplace, La. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren.

Mr. Thibodeaux is preceded in death by his father, Nolan Thibodeaux and his sister, Jaquelyne Lynn Thibodeaux.

Pallbearers will be Michael Williams, Page Breaux, Johnny Bordelon, Brett Courville, Sammy Coon and Don Coon. Honorary pallbearers will be Brant Young and Collin Courville.

Visiting hours will be observed in the Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home of Krotz Springs, La. on Tuesday, October 7, 2008 from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and will re-open on Wednesday, from 8:00 a.m. until time of service.

A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 7, 2008.
