CLAUDE JOSEPH KAISER SR.

Funeral services for Mr. Kaiser Sr. will be held Saturday, March 3rd, 2007 at 1:00PM at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Krotz Springs with interment at the Church cemetery The Rev Mark LeDoux will conduct the services.

Mr. Kaiser 87, passed away at his residence in Krotz Springs, Thursday .

As a young man he worked on a dredge boat at Timber industries. He enjoyed hunting and horse-back riding, but his passion was baseball. After his retirement he learned to cook and nake bread. He retired from Gulf Oil Company.with 32 years of service. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army during World War II. He served in the following battles and campaigns; Normandy, Northern France, Rhineland, Ardennes, Central Europe WDGO 33 45 and received the following decorations and citations; Good Conduct medal AR 600-68, Amer Def SV Medal and Eameto Medal.

He is survived by his wife Loretta Kaiser, of 61 years, of Krotz Springs, his children; Claude Jr and his wife Brenda Kaiser of Breaux Bridge, Kenneth and his wife Monty Kaiser, Johnny and his wife Marie Kaiser,, Stanley Kaiser all of Krotz Springs, Anthony and his wife Tammy Kaiser of Fordoche, La, Chris and his wife Jay Lynn Kaiser, Jim and his wife Becky Kaiser and Michael Crochet all of Krotz Springs, and Paul Kaiser of Broussard La. his daughters; Mary Ann and her husband Gerard Lacassin, Claudia and her husband Brent Breaux all of Krotz Springs, Laura and her husband Brett Devillier of Opelousas, Joan and her husband Lane Bergeaux and Theresa Cuc Kaiser all of Krotz Springs her brother; Ben and his wife Jane Kaiser of Brandon MS., and a sister; Esma K. The Pallbearers will be his 8 sons.

Visitation was observed Friday, from 2:00PM until time of service Saturday A rosary was recited on Friday at 7:00PM
