Christine Dicapo Morrow, a beloved life long resident of Melville, Louisiana, has peacefully passed away on July 11, 2023 at the Landmark South Nursing Home in Baton Rouge, LA. She was born on September 22, 1934, in Bayou Rouge, Louisiana. Christine will forever be remembered for her warmth and kindness towards everyone she met.
Christine's life was filled with love and devotion to her family and community. She dedicated herself to St. John Catholic Church and was an active member of the Melville Ladies Altar Society. Her faith was a guiding light in her life, and she found solace and joy within the walls of her beloved church.
Not only was Christine a pillar of her community, but she was also a remarkable cook. Her Spaghetti and Italian fig cookies were renowned for their mouthwatering flavors. Many fond memories were created around her dinner table as friends and loved ones enjoyed the delicious meals she prepared with love.
Throughout her life, Christine had an incredible ability to make others feel welcome and cherished. She never met a stranger and had an open heart that embraced all those around her. Her home, yard, and church were special places where she shared laughter, stories, and countless memories with her family and friends.

Christine is survived by her children Sal Morrow Jr. and wife Susan, Kathleen Morrow Arnold and husband Leo, and Jennie Morrow Fell; grandchildren Katie Arnold Gaudin and husband Nate, Matthew Morrow and wife Karin, Jeff Morrow and wife Shanna, Nicholas Fell, and Patrick Fell; great-grandchildren Rynn Gaudin, Logan Morrow, Landry Morrow, Savannah Morrow, and Anna Belle Zaragoza.
In addition to her immediate family members, Christine's passing has deeply affected those who were fortunate enough to call her a friend. Annie Lee Mose, who was like a sister, held a special place in Christine's heart as they shared a bond that transcended friendship. Shirley and Mary Lee Graffia were dear devoted friends who offered unwavering support and companionship throughout the years.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Sal Morrow, Sr.; her parents, Paul Dicapo, Sr. and Katie Roppolo Dicapo; brother, Nickie Dicapo and his wife Ethel Marks Dicapo, Anthony "Man" Dicapo, and Paul Dicapo, Jr.
Mrs. Morrow's pallbearers will be Leo Arnold, Matthew Morrow, Jeff Morrow, Nicholas Fell, Patrick Fell and Paul "Bubbi" Dicapo III. Honorary pallbearers will be Scott Johnson, Mike Allain, Benny Yander, Larry Ponthieux and Joe Bass.
The services to honor Christine's life will be held on July 17, 2023, starting with a visitation at Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home in Melville from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. There will be a Rosary service at 11:00 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial which willl be celebrated by Reverend Stephen Ugwu at St. John Catholic Church in Melville at 12:00 PM. Rite of Committal to follow at St. John Catholic Cemetery in Melville, LA.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Landmark South Nursing Home in Baton Rouge for the exceptional care provided to Christine during her time there.
Christine Dicapo Morrow was a shining light in the lives of those who knew her. She leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and an unwavering dedication to her family and community. Her memory will forever live on in our hearts.
