Christine Beardmore

Opelousas - A Memorial Service will be held for Christine "Chris" Briley Beardmore, age 60, at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, June 26, 2015, in the Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home Chapel in Opelousas, LA. Reverend Ken Domingue will pray the rosary and Reverend Mike Topham will conduct the funeral service.

Mrs. Beardmore, a resident of Port Barre, LA and native of Opelousas, LA, died on Monday, June 22, 2015, at her residence.

Christine worked for her father at Briley's Exterminating. She worked as a seamstress, but also sewed as her hobby. Chris loved antiquing with her husband, Mike. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends and all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her husband of 24 years, Mike Beardmore, of Port Barre, LA; her parents, June Briley and Marie Marcotte Briley, of Carencro, LA; her brothers, David Briley and wife, Angie, of Opelousas, LA; Kirk Briley and wife, Deon, of Carencro, LA; her step-daughters, Christina Zipparo of Waynesboro, VA; Melissa Zipparo of Danberry, CT; her step-granddaughters, Graziella, Kia and Izzy Zipparo of Danberry, CT, and her nieces, Lainey, Morgan and Macey Briley, Alyce, Addison and Adam Briley.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents and her niece, Megan Briley.

Visitation will be held at the LaFond-Ardoin Funeral Home of Opelousas on Friday, June 26, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. until time of service.
