Charles Pitre

Funeral services for Charles Randy Pitre will be held on Wednesday, January 30, 2008 at 1:00PM at Lafond Ardoin Funeral Home in Opelousas with the interment in Bellevue Memorial Park. Deacon Dan Besse will conduct the services.

Mr. Pitre, age 49, a resident of Opelousas, passed away Sunday, January 27, 2008 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Lafayette.

Randy was self-employed and loved remodeling and everything that involved working with his hands. He was owner and operator of Handy Randy Home Improvement Service. He loved being with his family and friends, he enjoyed riding his Harley and enjoyed bass fishing. Randy loved life and he will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his wife; Janet Daigle Pitre, a son Charles Randy Pitre II, a daughter; Katie Ann Celeste Pitre Knott, his parents; Kermit and Dora Belle Pitre all of Opelousas, a sister; Sheila Hester, a nephew; Keith Hester, 2 step-sons; Jarred and Jacob Cormier of Sunset, three grandchildren; Tyler Knott, Blaklyn and Stetson Johnson, two step-grandchildren; Madison Theresa and Kade Charles Cormier of Vatican.

He was preceded in death by his first wife; Charlene Hebert Pitre.

The family requested that visitation be observed on Tuesday, January 29,2008 from noon 12PM until 10:00PM and will continue on Wednesday from 8:00AM until the time of service. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00PM on Tuesday.
