Charles Glasscock

Funeral services for Charles Wilfred Glasscock, age 83, will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 18, 2017, in the Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home Chapel of Opelousas with visitation being held at 9:00 a.m. until time of services. Burial will follow at Bellevue Memorial Park Cemetery in Opelousas. Pastor Jamie Tyler will officiate the services.

Charles proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He enjoyed playing tennis and was a proud member of the Eunice Tennis League. He also enjoyed spending time at the local casinos. Charles will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his sons, Douglas Glasscock and wife, Jennifer, of Eunice, LA; Jody Glasscock and wife, Melissa, of Opelousas, LA; his daughters, Jennifer Glasscock and husband, Stacy Palmer, of Fort Worth, TX; Angela McCuistian and husband, Craig, of Denton, TX and his sisters, Lois Glasscock Boagni and husband, Kenneth Boagni, Sr. of Opelousas, LA and Blanche Bourdier of Opelousas, LA. He is also survived by three grandchildren, Lynzi, Dorian and Lauren Glasscock.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Seeman Glasscock, Sr. and Lola Bush Glasscock and his brothers, Seeman Glasscock, Jr. and Carol Glasscock.

Pallbearers will be Dorian Glasscock, Douglas Glasscock, Jody Glasscock and Craig McCuistian.
