Charles Comeaux

Opelousas - Funeral services for Charles Ray Comeaux, age 60, will be held on Tuesday, September 9, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. at the Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church, followed by interment in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church Cemetery in Port Barre, La.

The Reverend Paul Bienvenu will conduct the Mass of Christian Burial.

Mr. Comeaux, died at 6:10 p.m. Thursday, September 4, 2008 at Maison DeVille Nursing Home in Opelousas, La.

Charles was known by his family as a very special angel.

Mr. Comeaux is survived by his brother, Herbert Comeaux of Alexandria, La. and his sisters, Ludie Blanchard of Boyce, La.; Dorthy Stelly of Opelousas, La. and Margret Meche of Opelousas, La. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clinus and Marie Comeaux and his brother, Hilman Comeaux.

Visiting hours will be observed in the Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home of Opelousas on Monday, September 8, 2008 from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and will reopen at 8:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 9, 2008, until time of service. A rosary will be held on Monday at 7:00 p.m.
