Cecile Stelly

Leonville A Mass of Christian Burial for Cecile Te Te Pitre Stelly, age 53, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 18, 2012, in the St. Leo the Great Catholic Church in Leonville, La., followed by interment in the church cemetery. The Reverend Ken Domingue will conduct the Mass of Christian Burial.

Mrs. Stelly, a resident of Opelousas, La., died on Monday, April 16, 2012, at Opelousas General Health System South Campus in Opelousas, La.

Cecile was a member of the Ladies Alter Society of St. Leo the Great Catholic Church in Leonville. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Survivors include her husband of 39 years, Joseph Joe Adley Stelly, Jr. of Leonville, La. her son, Blaine Joseph Stelly and wife, Sara, of Leonville, La. her daughters, Elaine Marie Stelly Deville and husband, Timothy, of Lawtell, La. Tammy Ann Stelly Miller and husband, Darrell, of Leonville, La. her brothers, Nolton Pitre, Jr. and wife, Eula Mae, of Opelousas, La. Kenneth Ray Pitre and wife, Rita, of Leonville, La. Rocky Pitre of Opelousas, La. Randy Pitre of Plaisance, La. Donald Pitre and wife, B.J. of Bunkie, La. and her sister, Brenda Fontenot and husband, Harold, of Ville Platte, La. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren, Logan Timothy Deville, Kyle Joseph Deville and Cameron Blaine Stelly.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Nolton and Barbara Bobby Lalonde Pitre.

Visiting hours will be observed in the LafondArdoin Funeral Home of Opelousas, beginning on Tuesday, April 17, 2012, from 4:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. and reopen at 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday until service time. A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Pallbearers will be Joseph Stelly, Blaine Stelly, Timothy Deville, Jason Domec, Daniel Carriere and honorary pallbearers will be Logan Deville, Kyle Deville and Cameron Stelly.
