Casey Olivier

Opelousas Funeral services for Casey Olivier, age 40, will be held on Thursday, February 3, 2011, at 10:00 a.m. in the LafondArdoin Funeral Home of Opelousas, La., followed by interment in the Bellevue Memorial Park Cemetery. The Reverend James Brady will conduct the services.

Casey, a resident Opelousas, La., passed away on Monday, January 31, 2011.

Casey loved to duck hunt, woodworking and was very talented with his hands. Casey gave so much love to everyone and always treasured spending time with his family. He will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his sons, Andrew Casey Olivier and girlfriend, Hillary Raggetti and Caleb Michael Olivier his daughter, Allie Elizabeth Olivier his parents, A lbert and Judie Olivier his maternal grandmother, Nola Guidroz his brother, Duane Olivier and wife, Tonya his sister, Frankie Smith and husband, Joel his Godchild, Alex Smith and his nieces and nephews, Anthony and Adam Smith and Jordan and Ashlee Olivier. He is also survived by his aunts and uncles, Wayne and Wanda Gautreaux, Glenda and Leroy Darbonne, Oren and Judy Olivier, Floyd and Gerri Olivier, Joe and Debbie Olivier, Gilbert and Gloria Olivier and Martha Richard. He is also survied by his great niece and was soon to be a grandfather.

He was preceded in death by his nephew, Jacob Olivier his maternal grandfather, Samuel Gautreaux and his paternal grandparents, Gilbert and Virgie Olivier.

Pallbearers will be: J.W. Miller, Jan Ledoux, Jordan Olivier, Alex Smith, Eric Gautreaux, Brian Constantine, Clay Armand and Duane Olivier. Honorary pallbearers will be: Wayne Gautreaux, Leroy Darbonne, Jacob Joubert, Koby Joubert and David Durham.

Visiting hours will be observed in the LafondArdoin Funeral Home of Opelousas on Wednesday, February 2, 2011 from 10:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. and will reopen at 8:00 a.m. on Thursday until time of service. A rosary will be prayed at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
