Krotz Springs - Funeral services for Carolyn Scott Singletary will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 11, 2021, at Krotz Springs Baptist Church. Pastor Allan Meyers will conduct the service.  Burial will follow in Krotz Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation will begin on Saturday, December 11, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. at Krotz Springs Baptist Church until time of service.

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Carolyn Scott Singletary, age 77, on Wednesday, December 8, 2021, with her family by her side.

Carolyn played the piano in church for several years. She loved animals of all kinds. Her family meant the world to her and she will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her son, Thomas "Tommy" Pennington (Michelle); daughter, Robyn Kendrick (Mark); 5 grandchildren, Chraile Cagle (Eddy), Shea Kendrick (Ashley), Shelbi Kendrick, Brendan Pennington and Austin Pennington; 15 great-grandchildren; and host of cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Alice Scott; and her brother, Rusty Scott.

Pallbearers will be Tommy Pennington, Mark Kendrick, Shea Kendrick, Brendan Pennington and Austin Pennington.
