Carol Vige

Opelousas Funeral services for Carol K. Vige will be held on Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at 2:00 pm at the LafondArdoin Funeral Home Chapel in Opelousas. Father Paul Bienvenu will conduct the services. A private burial will take place at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Prairie Ronde.

Mrs. Vige, age 57, a resident of Opelousas, died Sunday June 24, 2012 at her residence. She liked sewing and was a volunteer helper at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Survivors include her special friend, Keith Perrodin of Opelousas her sons, Justin Vige of Opelousas Jamie Vige of Arnaudville her daughters, Angie Thibodeaux of New Orleans Cristal Vige and Sheena Vige both of Georgia her brothers, Harold Knott, Jr., David Knott and Mitchell Knott and her sisters, Sheila Garner and Melanie Miller. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren.

Preceding her in death was her husband, James A. Booby Vige her parents, Harold Knott and Mary Benoit Knott and her sisters, Pam Knott and Linda Knott.

Visitation will be held in the LafondArdoin Funeral Home of Opelousas on Wednesday, June 27, 2012, from 11:00 am until time of the services at 2:00 pm.
