Carletta Cioni

Funeral services for Carletta Lotta Anita Lewis Cioni will be held on Wednesday, June 3, 2009, at 10:30 a.m. in the Believers For Christ Ministry Church. Pastor John Barton will conduct the services. The interment will be in the St. Ann Church Cemetery in Frilot Cove.

Mrs. Cioni, age 51 a resident of Opelousas died Saturday May 30, 2009.

She was a cosmetologist and owned and operated Carlettas Coffaier Salon in Opelousas, graduated from Mckinley High School in Baton Rouge, worked 23 years with CitizensFrontier Communications. She did the dream of her life by attending Aveda Institute of Cosmetology in Lafayette. She was a Godly woman and she brought a lot of people to God. She loved her grandchildren and was a peacemaker and a fighter and inspiration for others. She was a volunteer at Miles Perret Cancer Center and a member of the New Kingdom Ministries International and also the John Barton Ministries. She was also a prayer, worshiper and had a multitude of friends.

Survivors include her husband; Arthur Art Cioni of Opelousas, mother; Constance Elliott Lewis of Frilot Cove, step daughters; Cortni Reid of Austin, TX. and Marissa Cioni of Opelousas, brother Efferin John Lewis of Opelousas, sisters Denise Edith Bernard and husband, Derek; Paula Feilon Jackson and husband, Duke, and Vanessa Monique Lewis and fianc Randall Bernard LeJeune all of Opelousas and her grandchildren, Kendrick James Waters, Bryson Keith Waters both of Opelousas and Cooper Benjamen Reid of Austin, TX.

She was preceded in death by her father; Bernard James Lewis and her grandparents.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 3, 2009 at 9:00 a.m. until time of services in the Believers For Christ Ministry Church located at 113 Deprimo Lane in Opelousas, La.
