Opelousas- A funeral service will be held for Mr. Carl W. Richard, age 69, at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 29, 2016 at Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home Chapel in Opelousas, LA. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until time of service. A rosary will be prayed at 12:00 p.m. Burial will take place at Bellevue Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mr. Richard, a resident of Houston, TX died on Friday, October 21, 2016 in Pasadena, TX.

He is survived by his daughter, Melissa Morgan; his brother, Roy Richard; his granddaughter, Alyssa Beth Morgan; his nieces, Tammy Auzenne and Laura Debarge; his nephew, Troy Richard; his great niece, Lindsay Auzenne; and his great nephews, Jacob Auzenne and Kenny Baker. The family would also like to thank his dear friend Ms. Peggy Harville for her dedicated support and kindness.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Curtis and Hazel Bellard Richard.
