Burnley Joubert

Opelousas- A memorial service for Burnley Joseph Joubert, age 74, will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2009 at 9:00 a.m. in the Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home in Opelousas.
Mr. Joubert, a resident of Opelousas, died at 9:00 p.m. on June 9, 2009 at his residence. He was a retired contractor.

Mr. Joubert is survived by his wife, Marie V. Joubert; his sons, Morgan James Joubert and Burnley Joseph Joubert, Jr. both of Opelousas, La.; Anthony Joubert of Duson, La.; his daughter, Mona Faye Mrs. Tony McMurtry of Opelousas, La.; his brother, Joseph Ulysse Joubert, Jr. of Opelousas, La. and his sister, Eloise Mrs. James St. Cyr of Opelousas, La. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren.

Mr. Joubert was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Ulysse Joubert, Sr. and Emily Dupre Joubert and one sister, Ruby Mrs. Roy Taylor.

Vistitation will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2009 from 8:00 a.m. until service time and will continue on until 12:00 p.m.
