Opelousas - It is with heavy hearts that the family of Bryan Boudreau announces his passing at Opelousas General Health System on Monday, March 21, 2016 at the age of 56.
He was born on April 26, 1959 to Kirtley A. and Mary Lynn Sheppard Boudreau in Opelousas, LA.
Bryan was an avid outdoorsman, where he enjoyed hunting ducks, deer, and wild hogs. His favorite hobby was woodworking and his home is filled with the fruits of his labor. Bryan was a loving and easy going man and will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved him.
Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Judy Vondracek of Opelousas, LA; his brother, Kirtley Boudreau of Lafayette, LA; his sisters, Evelyn Wyble and husband, Mark, of St. Joseph, MO; Jeannell Casanova and husband, Mark, of Corpus Christi, TX and his many loved nieces and nephews and close relatives.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Kirtley A. and Mary Lynn Sheppard Boudreau and his brother, Robert Boudreau.
The family will receive visitors at LaFond-Ardoin Funeral Home of Opelousas beginning on Thursday, March 24, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and will reopen on Friday, March 25, 2016, from 8:00 a.m. until service time at 11:30 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in the Cedar Hill Cemetery in Washington, LA.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Baton Rouge Chapter of the A.L.S. Foundation.
