Krotz Springs Funeral services will be held for Brian Chris Johnson at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 23, 2013, in the First Baptist Church of Krotz Springs. Brother Chad Bolfa will conduct the service. Burial will be held in the First Baptist Church in Krotz Springs.

Mr. Johnson, age 54, a resident of 3 Mile Lake, died on Wednesday, November 20, 2013, at his residence.

Chris will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him.

Survivors are his wife of 36 years, Jan Ortego Johnson, of 3 Mile Lake his parents, Wilmer and Glory Devillier Johnson of Krotz Springs, La. his son, Blake Johnson and wife, Heather, of 3 Mile Lake his daughter, Amber Johnson and fianc, Caleb Dupre, of Krotz Springs, La. his brother, Ethan Poppa Johnson and wife, Jonalyn, of Prairieville, La. and his sister, Lisa DuFour and husband, Cliff, of Central, La. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren and 1 on the way, Harley Duplechain, Caleb Dupre, II, Gunnar Johnson and expecting granddaughter, Paisley Dupre.

He was preceded in death by Joe and Eva Johnson and Dewey and Selise Devillier.

Visiting will begin at the LaFondArdoin Funeral Home of Krotz Springs on Friday, November 22, 2013, from 4:00 p.m. open all night until service time at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.

Pallbearers and honorary pallbearers will be Marty Hoyt, Robert Ortego, Ronald Ortego, Cliff DuFour, Leon Gaudet, Jay Moran, Ricky Willis, Davy Schexnayder and Seth Johnson.
