Brenda Lafleur

Opelousas - Funeral services for Brenda Lafleur, age 64, will be held on Wednesday, June 10, 2009 at 9:30 a.m. in the St. Landry Catholic Church, followed by interment in the Bellevue Memorial Park Cemetery in Opelousas, La.

Monsignor Robert Romero will conduct the funeral service.

Mrs. Lafleur, a resident of Opelousas, La., died at 8:40 p.m. on Sunday, June 7, 2009 at Lafayette General Medical Center.

Mrs. Lafleur is survived by her son, Kurt Lafleur and wife, Jenny, of Grand Prairie, La. and her daughter, Pam Hoffpauir and husband, Jason, of Moss Bluff, La. She is also survived by her granddaughter, Lauren Hoffpauir - the light of her life; and also her step-grandchildren, Rebecca and Daniel Thomas.

Mrs. Lafleur is preceded in death by her husband, Earl Lafleur; her parents, Gene and Isola McSpadden and also one sister, Jo Giamanco.

Visiting hours will be observed in the Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 9, 2009 from 3:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and will re-open on Wednesday, from 8:00 a.m. until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
