Blanche Rollins

Melville Funeral services for Blanche Terry Rollins, age 85, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 23, 2012, in the First Baptist Church of Melville, followed by internment in the church cemetery in Melville, LA. The Reverend Merrick Henry will conduct the service.

Mrs. Rollins, a resident of Melville, LA, died on Thursday, April 19, 2012, at Opelousas General Health System in Opelousas, LA.

Blanche was active in the First Baptist Church and the community for many years. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Survivors include her soninlaw, Elie Butch Boudreaux of Melville, LA854 her granddaughter, Jennifer Kolise and her husband, Pelema, of Braggs, OK and her greatgranddaughter, Kylie Kolise also of Braggs, OK.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Sam Rollins her daughter, Rebecca Boudreaux her parents, John and Maggie Jackson Terry and her seven siblings.

Visiting hours will be observed in the LafondArdoin Funeral Home of Melville, beginning on Sunday, April 22, 2012, from 4:00 p. m. to 9:00 p.m. and will reopen on 8:00 a.m. on Monday until service time.
