Blake Estay

Opelousas - A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, August 14, 2017 for Blake Robert Estay in the Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Bud Plake will officiate the services.

Blake, age 25 and a resident of Opelousas, passed away on Saturday, August 12, 2017.

He is survived by his mother, Krystal Estay; maternal grandmother, Rosalie Crappell; maternal step-grandmother, Peggy Estay; son, Blake Estay, Jr.; brother, Derek Cormier and fiancé, Cassie Duff; sister, Ashlind Chouest and husband, Robert; aunts, Mikell Marks and husband, Dwayne, Lorine Estay and Johnna Courville and husband, Robert; uncle, Jon Estay; and cousins, Lenzi, Tori, Tyler, Madison, Connor, Jarrad, Justin, Codi, Chase, Harrison and Melody.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, John L. Estay; and paternal grandparents, Newton and Sarah Gaspard.

Visitation will be held on Monday, August 14, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home in Opelousas.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to them for Blake Estay, Jr.'s trust fund.
