Billy Duplechain

Melville Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. for Billy Ray Big Bill Beuski Duplechian, age 24, in the LafondArdoin Funeral Home of Melville on Saturday, March 20, 2010, followed by interment in the Melville Baptist Cemetery. Brother Buddy Webb and Brother Rocky Warden will conduct the services.

Billy, who was a native and resident of Melville, died on Tuesday, March 16, 2010. He loved keeping physically fit, including boxing, working out and playing basketball. He also enjoyed playing his XBOX.

Survivors include his parents, Eddie and Vickie Dupre Duplechain of Melville, La. his maternal grandmother, Bernadette Dupre, of Plaisance, La. his sister, Raven Lynn Duplechain of Melville, La. his Godparents, Elwood Cormier and wife Ruby and Judy Dupre his uncles, William Duplechain and wife, Anne Lionel Dupre and wife, Shirley J.W. Dupre and wife, Cathy his aunts, Vera Thibodeaux and husband, Harran Rose Lanclos Dotsy Savoie Joycelyn Fontenot and husband, Kenneth Dianne Arnaud and husband, Leon Mary Warren and Annie Teran and husband, Henry. He is also survived by a host of cousins, extended family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Theobert and Theresa Duplechain and his maternal grandfather, Willie Bill Dupre.

Visitation will be held in the LaFondArdoin Funeral Home of Melville beginning on Friday, March 19, 2010 from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and will reopen on Saturday at 8:00 a.m. until service time.

Pallbearers will be Aaron Johnson, C.J. Polotzola, Rusty Deville, Cody Rabalais, Kevin Fontenot, Lane Adams, Jeremy Skip Camp and Brody Bryant.
