Bevelyn Gautreaux

Funeral services for Bevelyn Darbonne Gautreaux will be held on Thursday, June 10, 2010, at 2:00 p.m. in the LafondArdoin Funeral Home Chapel in Opelousas. The interment will be at Bellevue Memorial Park. Father Paul Bienvenu will conduct the services.

Mrs. Gautreaux, age 70, a resident of Opelousas died Monday, June 7, 2010, at Heritage Manor Nursing Home. She was a retired legal secretary.

Survivors include four daughters, Clara Gautreaux Marks and husband Vernon of Opelousas, Roxane GautreauxCarte and husband Sammy, of Crestview, Florida, Sharon Gautreaux Fontenot of Opelousas, and Tammy Gautreaux Bellard and husband Ronald of Opelousas brother, Mitchell Darbonne of Leonville sister, Mary Warhol of Tomball, Texas brotherinlaw, Walton Gautreaux of Opelousas sistersinlaw, Emily Taylor of Washington and Bonnie Juneau of Arnaudville 15 grandchildren, Tim Marks and wife Ashley, Lauren Hulion and husband Daniel, Tony Carte, Amanda Carte, Cory Carte and wife Megan, Ashleigh Breaux and husband Randall, Eric Fontenot, C.J. Fontenot, Gabrielle Fontenot, Trent Fontenot, Christian Fontenot, Veronica Thibodeaux and husband Dale, Ronald Bellard, Jr. and wife Michelle, Cory Bellard, and Zach Bellard 11 great grandchildren, Victoria Marks, Mckayla Carte, Olivia Marks, Mackenzie Hulion, Kadence Hulion, Cassandra Hulion, Samantha Daniels, Kaitlyn Stelly, Kimberleigh Stelly, Daxx Thibodeaux, Alexandra Bellard and Shelbie Breaux.

She will be missed by all who knew her, including her special friends at Morrow, Morrow, Ryan Bassett, especially James P. Jim Ryan and Cynthia Bellard.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ewell J. Gautreaux soninlaw, Joseph H. Fontenot, Jr. parents, Joseph Wildon Darbonne and Doxille Willingham Darbonne 3 brothers, Wilbert Darbonne, Wildon Darbonne and Doris Darbonne and four sisters, Zilda Lanclos, Louise Simmons, Shirley Chevalier and Gladys Artigue.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, June 9, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m., and on Thursday from 8:00 a.m. until time of services. A rosary will be recited on Wednesday evening at 6:00 p.m.

Pallbearers will be six of her grandsons, Tim Marks, Tony Carte, Eric Fontenot, Trent Fontenot, Cory James Bellard and Zach Bellard.
