Beulah Sanders

Melville Funeral services for Beulah Sanders, age 88, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, July 22, 2011 in the First Pentecostal Church of Melville, followed by interment in the church cemetery. Reverend Ray Majors will conduct the services.

Mrs. Sanders, who was a resident of Melville, La., died on Monday, July 18, 2011 at TriCommunity Nursing Home in Palmetto, La.

She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Survivors include her sons, Roy Barker and wife, Cynthia, of Lottie, La. Thomas Barker and wife, Bridgett, of Kileen, Texas Gary Barker and companion, Lora Smith, of Eupora, Mississippi Ronnie Barker and wife, Janet, of Watson, La. Donald Gene Barker and wife, Becky, of Fresno, California Elvis Barker and wife, Tricia, of Jarreau, La. David Savant and wife, Kathy, of Livonia, La. three stepsons, Leslie Barker and wife, Camella Sulivan Barker and wife, Velma Pat Barker and wife, Judy one stepdaughter, Lollie Mae Meyers and husband, Sydney and her sister, Mildred Boudreaux of Melville, La. She is also survived by 48 grandchildren numerous greatgrandchildren and greatgreat grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by parents, Osama and Flora Bordelon Fruge her brothers, Harris Fruge, Clifton Boudreaux and Isaac Boudreaux and her sisters, Rena Fruge and Della Fruge.

Visiting hours will be observed in the First Pentecostal Church of Melville, beginning on Thursday, July 21, 2011 from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and will reopen on Friday at 8:00 a.m. until service.
