Betty Robin

Opelousas Funeral services will be held for Betty Pitre Robin, age 76, at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 18, 2012, in the LafondArdoin Funeral Home of Opelousas. Burial will follow in the Bellevue Memorial Park Cemetery with Reverend Gerald Heard.

Mrs. Robin, a resident of Opelousas, La., died on Monday, October 15, 2012, at the AcadiaSt. Landry Nursing Home in Church Point, La.

She will be greatly missed by her family, friends and all who knew and loved her.

Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Sgt. James A. Robin, Sr., of Opelousas, La. her son, James A. Tony Robin, II, of Opelousas, La. her daughter, Denise Ann Richard and husband, William, of Opelousas, La. and her sister, Myrtle Champagne and husband, Gerald, of Opelousas, La. She is also survived by six grandchildren, Amanda Stelly, Sarah Stelly, Candace Richard, Madeline Robin, Brandon Robin, Olivia Robin all of Opelousas, La. and four greatgrandchildren, Kaden Stelly, Hunter Stelly, Holden Stelly and Taylor Stelly.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Delton and Pearl Bertrand Pitre.

Visiting hours will be observed in the LafondArdoin Funeral Home of Opelousas beginning on Wednesday, October 17, 2012 from 3:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and will reopen on Thursday at 8:00 a.m. until time of service.
