Betty Soileau

A Mass of Christian Burial for Betty Ann Soileau will be held on Monday September 16, 2013 at 11:00am at the St. Anthony Catholic Church in Krotz Springs. Rite of Committal will take place at St. Anthony Catholic Cemetery. Fr. Chanh Nguyen will be the celebrant.

Mrs. Soileau, age 87, a resident of Krotz Springs, died Friday September 13, 2013 at Prompt Succor Nursing Home in Opelousas. She was a homemaker and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her sons Gerald Soileau and wife Barbara of Slaughter, Robert Soileau and wife Sheila of Krotz Springs and Gary Soileau and wife Cathy of Krotz Springs, daughters Ethel Williams and husband Donald of Krotz Springs and Brenda Foti and husband Charles of Breaux Bridge, sister Mary Fontana of Independence, 16 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Howard Soileau, mother Verdie Courville, stepfather Archille Courville and a brother James Courville.

The family has requested visitation be held on Sunday from 6:00pm until 10:00pm and will reopen on Monday at 8:00am. A rosary will be prayed on Sunday at 7:00pm.
