Benny Circello, Jr.

It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that Mr. Benny Wayne Circello, Jr. passed away on Tuesday, June 23, 2020, at Opelousas General Health System.

Visitation will be held in the Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home of Krotz Springs on Friday, June 26, 2020 beginning at 8:00 AM until 10:30 AM.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM at the St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Krotz Springs with the Rite of Committal being held in the St. Anthony Catholic Church Cemetery.  Reverend Michael DeBlanc will celebrate the Mass.  Following the burial, a repass will be held at the Krotz Springs Community Center behind the City Hall.

Benny served his country proudly in the Army National Guard.  He was employed at the Krotz Springs refinery plant, currently "Delek", for over 40 years.  He enjoyed camping and spending time with his family.  Benny became the patriarch of his family following the death of his mother, Peggy.  Benny will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his brothers, John Circello and wife, Cindy; Michael Circello and wife, Shelia; his sisters, Paula Halphen, Augie Bourdreaux and Debbie Viator and husband, David.  He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, Daniel Shane Naquin (Rebecca), Kyle Circello (Trina), Kathryn Halphen, Emily Wellen (Josh), Sharee Vidos (Wayne), Jordan Boudreaux, Lainy Nicole Aymond (Matthew Calhoon), J.D. Circello, Jr. (Alison Houston), Alexis Boudreaux, Christopher Circello, Cole Michael Circello and Allysa Elain Circello.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Benny Wayne Circello and Peggy Ann Ducote Circello; his brother-in-law, Clayton Boudreaux; his aunt, Elaine Mengarelli; his uncle, Charles Ducote and his best friend, Bruce Boudreaux.

Pallbearers will be his nephews, Shane Naquin, J.D. Circello, Jr., Cole Circello, Christopher Circello, Jordan Boudreaux and Steve Mengarelli.
