Bennie Little

Opelousas A Celebration of Life will be held for Bennie Vernon Little at his residence, 412 South Market Street, Opelousas, LA 70570, from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 1, 2014.

Mr. Little, age 71, died on Tuesday, October 28, 2014, at his residence.

Bennie was a member of the Opelousas Elks Lodge for many years. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his sons, Sean Thomas Little, of Grosse Tete, LA Bennett Lloyd Beau Little, of Opelousas, LA his daughter, Lisa Little Menard, and husband, Larry, of Sunset, LA his brother, Loren Wayne Little, of Muskogee, Oklahoma and his sister, Myran Ann Haught of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. He is also survived by two grandchildren, Whitney Blair FieldenDecou and husband, Mike Michael Wayne Fielden and wife, Elizabeth two greatgrandchildren, Rylea Jane Fielden, Ezara Ferdinand FieldenDecou two stepgrandsons, Travis Michael Menard and wife, Amanda, of Opelousas, LA Joshua Wade Menard and wife, Angel, of Port Barre, LA and two stepgreatgrandchildren, Caleb Bryant Menard and Amelia Elise Menard and his longtime girlfriend, Donna Sugar Carron, of Opelousas, LA and her sons, John and Chris Prejean and their children.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bennie Dick Little and Melvina Trilby Klein Little his brother, William Thomas Little, his grandparents, aunts and uncles.
