Benjamin Boagni

Opelousas- Funeral services for Benjamin Boagni, age 67, will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, March 28, 2008, in the Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home Chapel, followed by interment in the Bellevue Memorial Park Cemetery. Father Paul Metrejean will officiate the services.

Benjamin Boagni, who was resident of Birmingham, Alabama and a former resident of Opelousas died on Wednesday, March 26, 2008.

Mr. Boagni was a veteran of the United States Army and was a former Police Juror of St. Landry Parish.

Survivors include his brothers, Opelousas City Judge Kenneth Boagni, Jr., Lee Garland Boagni and Henry Adams Boagni.

He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Boagni, Sr. former District Judge and his mother, Helen Garland Boagni.

Visitation will be held at the LaFond-Ardoin Funeral Home of Opelousas on Friday, March 28, 2008 from 12:00 p.m. until time of service.
