Belle Vidrine

Funeral services for Belle Brown Vidrine will be held on Tuesday September 6, 2011 at 10:00am at LafondArdoin Funeral Home in Opelousas. The interment will be in the St. Peters Catholic Cemetery in Grand Prairie. Rev. Richard Vidrine will conduct the services.

Mrs. Vidrine, age 69, a resident of Grand Prairie died Saturday September 3, 2011 at Opelousas General Health System, following a lengthy illness.

Survivors include her husband Elbon Vidrine of Grand Prairie, son Tommy Vidrine of Grand Prairie, brothers Edrick Brown and wife Clorita of Lafayette and Eddie Brown and wife Betty of Ville Platte, sisters Mary Roberie of Grand Prairie, Shirley Dupre of Ville Platte and Debra Dupre and husband Darrell of Grand Prairie.

She was preceded in death by her parents John Brown and Elizabeth Benoit Brown.
Visitation will be held on Monday September 5, 2011 from 2:00pm until 8:00pm and will reopen on Tuesday at 8:00am. A rosary will be recited on Monday at 6:00pm.
