Audrey Duplechin

Opelousas Services for Audrey Hunter Duplechin, age 68, will be held on Monday, December 20, 2010, at 2:00 p.m. in the LafondArdoin Funeral Home Opelousas, La. The Reverend Benny Reppond will conduct the services with interment to follow at Bellevue Memorial Park Mausoleum.

Audrey, a native of Golden Meadow, La. and resident of Opelousas, La., passed away on Wednesday, December 15, 2010, at her residence.

She enjoyed gardening, going to the casino and being around children. She will be missed dearly by all who knew her.

She is survived by her daughter, Billie Duplechin Lanclos of Opelousas, La. her sisters, Rachel Taylor of Opelousas, La. and Louella Venable of Opelousas, La. She is also survived by her three grandchildren, Dustin J. Lanclos, Nicholas B. Lanclos, Victoria Celeste Lanclos and one adopted granddaughter, Christine Carriere three greatgrandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Eddie Joseph Hunter and Rose Hebert Latour and her son, Kurt Wayne Duplechin her brother, Hindenburg Hunter and her sisters, Rose Jackson and Alice Granger.

Visiting hours will be observed in the LafondArdoin Funeral Home of Opelousas on Monday, December 20, 2010 from 12:00 p.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m.
