Audrey Aguillard

Opelousas Funeral services for Audrey Aguillard, age 85, will be held at 2:30 p.m. on, Wednesday, March 30, 2011 in the LafondArdoin Funeral Home Chapel in Opelousas, La., followed by interment in the Bellevue Memorial Park Cemetery. The Reverend Monsignor Keith J. DeRouen will conduct the services.

Mrs. Aguillard, who was a resident of Opelousas, La., died at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, March 28, 2011 in the Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Opelousas.

Audrey was employed by Anthonys, Stage Department Store and Abdallas of Opelousas and she will be remembered for the way she dressed by her customers.
Survivors include her daughter, Harriet Fisher and husband, Bobby, of Opelousas, La. sons, Wayne Aguillard and wife, Carolyn, of Alexandria, La. Mike Aguillard and his wife, Brenda, of Lafayette, La. She is also survived by her 7 grandchildren, Heidi Fisher, Kacy Fisher, Kelly Aguillard, Chris Aguillard, Scott Aguillard, Nikki Aguillard and Tish Parnell.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Daly Aguillard her parents, Roman and Callie Brasseaux, her sister, Vera Miller and her brothers, Ronnie Brasseaux and Gerald Brasseaux.

Visiting hours will be observed in the LaFondArdoin Funeral Home of Opelousas, beginning on Wednesday, March 30, 2011 from 8:00 a.m. until service time at 2:30 p.m.
Pallbearers will be: Bobby Fisher, Kacy Fisher, Wayne Aguillard, Mike Aguillard, Chris Aguillard and Lee Cormier.

The family would like to thank the staff at Heritage Manor Nursing Home, Louisiana Hospice and Palliative Care and also, the fifth floor nursing staff at Opelousas General Health Systems for their special care and compassion during her final hours.
