Asia Stears

Funeral service was held for Asia Lynn Stears age 25 at St Peter Catholic Church in Grand Prairie at 12 Noon Saturday June 2, 2007. Burial was in the church cemetery.

Fr. Mark Melancon did officiate the service.

Survived by her father Quentin and step mother Sandra Stears of Grand Prairie, and her mother Melissa Stears of Washington, La, Her fianc Jerome Martinez of Krotz Springs, La, and step children Austin and Blayde Martinez. Two sisters Tama Stears and Emily Higdon of Washington, La. Three brothers Dwayne and his wife Beth Stears of Ville Platte, La., David Stears of Ville Platte, La., and Kenneth Stears of Washington, La, One step brother Troy Daigle of Prairie Ronde, La., Two step sisters Stacy Chautin and Tammy Bellard of Opelousas, La. Paternal Grandfather John Landry of Lafayette, La. and Maternal Grandmother Vonola Stears of Grand Prairie, La. An aunt Lisa and Uncle Gerald Fruge of Lafayette, La, A great aunt Bonnie Rodriguez and her husband Orlando of Garland, Texas. A special Godfather Carroll and aunt Sandra Soileau and family of Grand Prairie, La. One godchild Loren Lejeune of Washington, La. Numerous nieces and nephews, also cousins, aunts, and uncles.

Preceded in death by paternal grandfather Horace Stears and maternal grandmother Ella Landry.

Visitation was held from 4 PM to 10 PM Friday June 1, 2007, 8 AM to time of service 12 Noon Saturday June 2, 2007.
