Funeral services for Mrs. Armo Martin Burrow, the former Armo Spears, will be held on Monday, November 27th, 2006 at 11:00AM at Lafond Ardoin Funeral Home Chapel with interment at Bellevue Memorial Park. The Rev. David Bricker will conduct the services.

Mrs. Burrow, 96, a resident of Acadiana, died Friday after a short illness. She was a long term resident of Acadiana having moved to the area from Southern Arkansas in 1933. She was an active member of the community as a small business owner and later as a staff member of Lafayette General Hospital and Opelousas General Hospital. Upon retirement she studied oil painting and was active at various senior citizen community centers enjoying dance and crafts. She was a member of Asbury Methodist Church in Lafayette and a member of the Eastern Star. At the time of her death she was a resident of Magnolia Estates Nursing Home.

She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law; Daryl and Gloria Burrow, two grandchildren; Edward and Michael Burrow all of Lafayette. She was preceded in death by her husband; Frank Bee Burrow, two sisters and one brother.

The family has requested that visitation be observed on Sunday, November 26th, 2006 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm and will continue on Monday from 9:00 until time of service.
