Aristile Hollier, Jr.

Opelousas Private graveside services were held for Aristile A.J. Hollier, Jr. at Bellevue Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mr. Hollier, age 85, a resident of Opelousas, La., died on Thursday, May 22, 2014, at Senior Village Nursing Home.

Aristile served his country proudly in the United States Army in the German Occupation. He retired as an electrician in the oilfield. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him.

Survivors are his son, Daniel L. Hollier of Gulf Shores, AL his daughter, Lynn Hollier Marks and husband, Lennie, of Opelousas, LA and his sisters, Alice Hollier Guidroz of Opelousas, LA and Mathilde Hollier Guidry of Lafayette, LA. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren, Angela Nezat, John L. Hollier, Elizabeth Streiferd and Damien L. Hollier and 2 greatgrandchildren Brennan Nezat and Alexander Streiferd.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Aristile Hollier, Sr. and Celeste Brasseaux Hollier one brother and four sisters.
