A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Argentine Carriere Wyble at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, October 28, 2013, in the Our Lady Queen of Angels Catholic Church in Opelousas, LA. Rite of Committal will follow in the Bellevue Memorial Park Cemetery. Monsignor Keith DeRouen will be the celebrant of the Mass.
Mrs. Wyble, age 95, died on Thursday, October 24, 2013, at Premier Transitional Care in Dallas, Texas.
Argentine enjoyed cooking, dancing and taking care of her vegetable and flower gardens. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her.
Survivors are sons, Willie D. Wyble and wife, Jo Ann, of Gonzales, LA Joe Wyble and wife, Marquita, of Toleda Bend, TX her daughter, Patricia Ann Weber and husband, James, of Garland, Texas. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, Jaquetta, Jessica, Jody, Lisa, Kristi and MiMi, 7 greatgrandchildren, Aleigh, Brynn, Grace, Emily, Jacob, Dominique and Chelsea.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Wyble her parents, Adam Carriere, Sr. and Annette Darbonne Carriere her brothers, Adam Carriere, Jr., John Carriere her sisters, Rose Robin, Mildred Moreau, Lena Leblanc, Lydia Carriere and Virginia LeBlanc, her grandson, Charles Matt Weber, 1 great grandson Gabriel James Healey and 5 half sisters
Visiting will begin at the LaFondArdoin Funeral Home of Opelousas on Sunday, October 25, 2013 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and will reopen on Monday morning from 8:00 a.m. until service time. A rosary will be recited Sunday at 7:00 p.m.
