ANTOINE LALONDE

Funeral services for Mr. Antoine Lalonde will be held on Saturday, August 9, 2008 at 11:00AM at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church in Leonville with the interment in St. Leo Cemetery. The Rev. Ken Domingue will conduct the services.

Mr. Lalonde, age 77, passed away August 5, 2008 at 12:24AM at Oschners Foundation Hospital in New Orleans.

He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Antoine was an outdoorsman and an avid hunter. He owned and operated his own heavy equipment business.

Mr. Lalonde is survived by his wife Marie Dalfrey Lalonde of Opelousas, his sons; Marcus Antoine Lalonde of Opelousas, Duane Gerard Lalonde and his wife Susan of San Fransisco and Ted Luke Lalonde and his wife Teresa of Baton Rouge, his daughters; Suzanne Tulk of Baton Rouge and Carla Jude Sevier of Lafayette. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Mr. Lalonde was preceded in death by his parents; Numa Lalonde and Celina Stelly Lalonde.

The family has requested that visitation will be observed on Friday from 11:00AM to 9:00PM and will continue on Saturday from 8;00Am until the time of service. A rosary will be recited at 7:00PM on Friday.
