Anthony Viola, Jr.

Melville Funeral services will be held for Anthony Bill Viola, Jr. at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 31, 2013, in the LafondArdoin Funeral Home in Melville, LA. Burial will follow in the Melville Baptist Cemetery. Brother Chad Bolfa will conduct the funeral service.

Mr. Viola, a resident of Melville, age 80, died on Thursday, August 29, 2013, at Opelousas General Health System.

Bill served his country in the U.S. Army and will be greatly missed by his family, friends and all who knew and loved him.

Survivors are his daughter, Kathleen Viola his brothers, Charles Viola and wife, Peggy, of Krotz Springs, LA Joseph Man Viola of Melville, LA James Monk Viola of Baker, LA and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his son, Derek Viola his father, Anthony Tony Viola his mother Virginia Jenny Viola his brothers, Johnny Viola, Nicholas Chick Viola and his sisters, Lucile Bea Coburn and Francis Sis Chutz.

Visiting hours will begin on Saturday, August 31, 2013, from 10:00 a.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m.
