Anthony Savoie

Opelousas Funeral services will be held for Anthony Troy Savoie at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 18, 2013, in the LafondArdoin Funeral Home in Opelousas, La. Deacon Dwayne Joubert will conduct the service. Burial will be held in the Bellevue Memorial Park Cemetery in Opelousas.

Mr. Savoie, age 43, a resident of Lafayette, La. and formerly of Opelousas, La., died on Sunday, December 15, 2013, at his residence.

He will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him.

Survivors are his mother, Beverly Jaubert, of Prairie Ronde, La. his father, Ray Savoie, of Opelousas, La. his maternal grandmother, Dorothy Manuel, of Prairie Ronde, La. his sister, Lisa Landry and her husband, Merl, of Lafayette, La. and his nephew, Joshua Landry, of Lafayette, La.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Craven Savoie his maternal grandfather, Abner Manuel and his paternal grandparents, Ernest Savoie and Alice Venable Savoie.

Visiting will begin at the LaFondArdoin Funeral Home of Opelousas on Tuesday, December 17, 2013, from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and will reopen on Wednesday from 8:00 a.m. until service time. A rosary will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
