Opelousas-Due to the Covid 19 mandated gathering restrictions, a private Graveside Service will be held at Bellevue Memorial Park Cemetery for Annie Marie Savoie. Rev. Msgr. Russell Harrington will conduct the Committal Service.
Miss Savoie, age 76, was a native of Church Point and longtime resident of Opelousas, LA. She died on May 5, 2020, at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Nursing Home in Opelousas. She enjoyed visiting with family and friends throughout the years. She will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her sister, Evelyn S. Wyble; sister-in-law, Jane S. Savoy; nieces, Janet Wyble Arsement and Stacey Savoy Messner; and nephew, Mitchell P. Wyble. She is also survived by several great nieces and nephews.
Annie was preceded in death by her parents, Albert Benjamin Savoie and Elda Theriot Savoie; brother, Harold James Savoy; grandparents: Joseph Theriot and Felician Delahoussaye Theriot; and Willie Savoy and Katherine Devalcourt Savoy.
Pallbearers will be Mitchell Wyble, Brooks Wyble, Tyler Messner, and Robert Arsement.
The family will have a public gathering and Memorial Mass at a later date.
