Anna Wyble

A Mass of Christian Burial for Anna Belle Franchebois Wyble will be held on Friday October 28, 2011 at 11:00am at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church. Fr. Paul Bienvenu will celebrate the mass. The interment will take place at Bellevue Memorial Park.

Mrs. Wyble, age 85, a resident of Opelousas died Wednesday October 26, 2011 at her residence. She was a dedicated housewife, mother and grandmother. She was also a hospice volunteer with HCOA of Opelousas a hospice provider.

She is survived by her sons Patrick Sherman Wyble and wife Brenda of Opelousas, Jerry Wayne Wyble and wife Gloria of Opelousas, granddaughter Donna Marie Wyble, great grandson Dale Patrick Wyble, great grandson Ryan Scott Gauthier whom she raised. She is also survived by many great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents Attole and Lorena Franchbois, husband Benoit Andrew Wyble, granddaughter Christine Cecilia Wyble, brothers Voris Franchebois, Creighton Franchebois, Leo Franchebois, Hilman Franchebois, Henry Lee Franchebois and a sister Ethel Franchebois Guilbeau.

The family has requested visitation be held on Thursday from 1:00pm and will remain open all night. A rosary will be recited on Thursday evening at 7:30pm.

Pallbearers will be Patrick Wyble, Jerry Wyble, Leo Franchebois, Jr., Ryan Gauthier, Dale Wyble, Benoit Andrew Wyble, John Savoy and Levi Grossie.


The family would like to thank the staff with HCOA of Opelousas, especially the caregivers, Liz Morris, Tesia Vaughn and Alicia Freeman.
