Anna Stermer

Funeral services will be held for Anna Mae Stermer at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, October 28, 2013, in the First Baptist Church in Krotz Springs, LA. Burial will follow in the First Baptist Church Cemetery. Brother Thomas Ayo and Brother Chad Bolfa will conduct the services.

Mrs. Stermer, age 75, a resident of Krotz Springs, died on Friday, October 25, 2013, at the TriCommunity Nursing Home in Palmetto, LA.

Anna loved being outdoors where she enjoyed hunting and fishing. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her.

Survivors are her sons, Johnny Johson and wife, Joyce, of Krotz Springs, LA David Johnson and wife, Laura, of Denham Springs, LA her daughters, Debra Johnson of Krotz Springs, LA Jo Lynn Stermer of Krotz Springs, LA her brother, Junius Ray Daigle and wife, Cheryl, of Lake Charles, LA and her nephew, Matthew Daigle of Lake Charles, LA. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Wain Stermer, Sr. and her parents, Junius and Margie Popps Daigle.

Visiting will begin at the LaFondArdoin Funeral Home of Krotz Springs on Sunday, October 27, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and will reopen on Monday from 8:00 a.m. until service time.
