Aniece Lalonde

Leonville- Funeral services for Aniece Lanclos Lalonde, 88, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on January 8, 2008, at the St. Leo the Great Catholic Church in Leonville followed by interment in the church mausoleum. The Reverend Ken Domingue will officiate the Mass of Christian Burial.

Mrs. Lalonde, who was a native of Arnaudville and a resident of Notleyville died on Sunday, January 6, 2008 at 1:10 a.m. at the J. Michael Morrow Nursing Home in Arnaudville.

She was a member of the St. Leo the Great Catholic Church in Leonville, where she served as a member of the St. Leo Altar Society.

Survivors include her two daughters, Mary Jane Hidalgo and husband Nelson and Barbara Pepitone and husband, Salvador Jr., all of Port Barre; two brothers, Roy Lanclos and wife Verna of Port Barre and Lee Lanclos and wife Jessie of Bridge City, TX; sisters-in-law, Rita Lanclos of Arnaudville and Eunice Lanclos of Groves, TX; eight grandchildren, Cindy Hidalgo Stelly and husband Simon Jr. of Arnaudville, David Hidalgo and wife Paula of Opelousas, Scott Hidalgo and wife Heather of Sunset, Kathie Hidalgo Guilbeau and husband Chris of Leonville , Angie Pepitone Marks and husband Timothy of Opelousas, Terri Pepitone Lewis and husband David of Port Barre, Dawn Pepitone Dupre and husband Carl of Youngsville and Hope Pepitone Charles and husband Blake of Port Barre; 17 great grandchildren, Katie, Amy and Megan Stelly, Jacob, Emily, and Alex Hidalgo, Cameron and Claire Guilbeau, Andrew Lewis, Brandon , Matt, and Laine Marks, Casey and Regan Dupre, and Morgan, Jon Burton and Brennan Charles and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Lalonde; her parents, Arthur and Marie Mallet Lanclos; sisters, Anna and Mabel Lanclos; brothers, Aneclet, Joshua, Whitbey, and Bertrand Lanclos.

Visiting will be held at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church in Leonville on Tuesday, January 8, 2008 from 7:00 a.m. until service time.
