Krotz Springs A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Angela Higdon Vincent at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 12, 2014, in the St. Anthony Catholic Church. Reverend Chan Nguyen will celebrate the Mass. The family has invited Reverend Chad Bolfa, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Krotz Springs, to say a few words about Angela. Rite of committal will be held in the church cemetery. Readers will be Crystal Snyder Carriere and Lezette Vienne. Gift bearers will be all of her grandchildren.

Mrs. Vincent, age 51, a native of Krotz Springs, LA and resident of Duson, LA, died on Monday, November 10, 2014, at her residence.

Angela was a diehard New Orleans Saints fan. She was very caring, giving and was a very outspoken person with the biggest heart in the world. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Vincent, of Duson, LA her daughter, Courtney Snyder Johnson and husband, Doug, of Krotz Springs, LA her parents, Leon and Jeanette Higdon, of Krotz Springs, LA her stepsons, Jason Vincent and wife, Julie, of Judice, LA Derek Vincent of Scott, LA her stepdaughter, Rachel Faul and husband, Martin, of Church Point, LA her sister, Dawn Higdon Taylor and husband, Paul, of Krotz Springs, LA. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, Connor Johnson, Sydni Johnson, Jude Vincent, Corinne Vincent, Bronwyn Faul, Abigail Faul, Victoria Faul and her special friend, Vera Snyder and her Godchild, Scotty Ray.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, P.E. and Florence Arceneaux her paternal grandmother, Mattie Stermer Higdon her inlaws, Robley and Jeanne Vincent and Erns Snyder, Sr.

Visitation will be held at the LaFondArdoin Funeral Home of Krotz Springs on Tuesday, November 11, 2014, from 2:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. and will reopen on Wednesday at 8:00 a.m. until time of service. A Rosary will be prayed at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Pallbearers will be Carroll Snyder, Jason Vincent, Scotty Ray, Derek Vincent, Deven Carriere, Doug Johnson and Colby Carriere.
