Angela Aymond

Opelousas-Funeral services for Angela Dupre Aymond, age 46, will be held on Wednesday, August 12, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Queen of Angels Catholic Church with interment in Bellevue Memorial Park in Opelousas, La. Rev. Angelo Cremaldi will officiate the services.

Mrs. Aymond, a resident of Opelousas, died at her residence on Monday, August 10, 2009. She was a loving wife and mother.

She is survived by husband, Paul Gerard Aymond of Opelousas, La.; her daughters, Samantha Aymond, Rebecca Aymond and her son, Brandt Aymond all of Opelousas. She is also survived by her parents, Mayonce and Mercedese Dupre of Krotz Springs, La.; her brothers, Joseph Blanchard Dupre of Thibodaux, La.; Roger Dupre of Krotz Springs, La.; Jean Dupre of Krotz Springs, La.; Myron Dupre of Thibodaux, La. and her sisters, Brenda D. McGee of Eunice, La.; Debra D. Barron of Ville Platte, La.; Verna D. Melancon of Krotz Springs, La.; Rosemary D. Batton of Opelousas, La. and Myra D. Muse of Krotz Springs, La.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Mallory Renae Aymond; her maternal grandmother and grandfather, Thelma J. Dupre and Abey Dupre and also her paternal grandmother and grandfather, Adosia D. Dupre and Lamar Dupre.

The Aymond family gives thanks to all of those that kept Angela and her family in their thoughts and prayers - God Bless You All.

Visiting hours will be observed in the Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home of Opelousas on Tuesday, August 11, 2009 from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and will re-open at 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 12, 2009 until service time. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 11, 2009.
