Andrew Lavergne

Opelousas-A memorial service for Andrew Andy Lavergne, age 74, will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. in the Church of Christ of Opelousas, La. Minister Clarence Holmes will conduct the memorial service. A gathering of friends and family will be held in the church after services.

Mr. Lavergne, a resident of Lawtell, La. died at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday, July 7, 2009, at his residence.

BRMr. Lavergne is survived by his wife, Tommye Jean Lavergne of Lawtell, La.; his sons, Michael Fehmer and wife, Judy, of Austin, Texas; Billy Chapman and wife, Kelly, of San Antonio, Texas and his sister, Jeannie Harrison and husband, Joe, of Fountain Inn, South Carolina and his grandchildren.

Mr. Lavergne was preceded in death by his parents, John Lavergne and Ester Leger Lavergne.
